Flashy names?

Yeah I can do that. I can pretty much do anything with vbulletin, they have a lot of mods and tweaks. If you're interested in learning how to do vbulletin I can give you admin access to this site and the vbulletin.org site where you can download the mods, rfF.Xerxes used to help me with the site but he hasn't been around in awhile.

sure sorry i havent been on family decided to stay till the 16 so yea :/ my nephews are ripping apart my house

im not sure if i should change anything is there some sort of preview before changes take place? i wouldnt want to mess the hole forum up.

Actually don't mess with the name part on the forums, I don't know if it's possible right now to do it like we want. There are 2 main versions of vbulletin, 3.X and then this new 4.0, and we have 4.0. Unfortunately 4.0 is so new they don't have a ton of mods and tweaks for it yet! The problem with changing the username to an image is that it breaks the formatting on other parts of the site and sometimes can make things look bad, the other downside is that if you mod the forums out too much, when you get ready to upgrade to a more secure version it breaks! I know in the 3.X versions of vbulletin it would be a lot easier, but we're on the cutting edge here because I wanted all these cool new social features of 4.0.

I have an idea though, I think we can make the names flashier without using images I'll work on it here.

Edit: I haven't found anything for 4.0 yet, if you really feel like wasting a few hours I can give you my vbulletin.org login that will let you download any mods from their site.

hehe after spending the day with my nephews all i really want to do is sleep ill look around after they leave @ the 16 or 18
